Day 81: Head’s up!

The theme of heads continues. The last few days it’s been about learning not the underlying shapes of the head and how they change with your view point but also where all the bits go and how to give them form. These are the results of the exercises firstly concentrating on the neck and how it connects and then fleshing it out with the face and hair.

Of course none of this can be accomplished without doing a fair bit of this first....

It’s tedious and repetative but practice, as the saying goes, makes perfect.

My next themed drawing - the follow-up to last week‘s Gunfight! - will be based on everyone’s favourite historical murdering, pillaging maniacs!
