Day 77: Heading in the right direction...

Did as much of the Gunfight scene as I am going to do but something struck me while was doing it that was significant in a big way....see if you can see it.

Nobody has had a visible face. Not even a squiggle is shadow to suggest one.

So I‘ve dug out another book that I’ll be moving forward with - which I’ll blog about in a couple of days - which is dedicated solely to the human head.

Before I opened the book I scribbled a copy of the drawing on its cover which looks something like this:

In the last week or so my confidence took a bit of a dent again so doing this was purely about getting the pencil onto the paper.

Tonight I’ve started the book and so far it’s just the same as the anatomy tutorials and courses I’ve been through in that it’s all anout practising the shape and blocking in dimensions. So it’s basically going to be a lot of this for a few days:
