Day 31: Give me a big hand...

So that’s a month done and its getting better with each day.

Tonight was all about hands though. Here’s how it panned out.

Instarted of with an offset square as a guide to the shape of my palm (yep, it’s my hand) and then went from there a finger at a time.

Note I made a mark where my pinkie should be to keep my proportion right before I drew in the third finger.

The pinkie was a bit tricky as only a sliver of the nail was visible which made it difficult to differentiate between where the nail ended and where the skin began.

After it was all pencilled in it was a case of getting the shading marked out.

And then it was just tidying up. Fonished drawing below. Not bad for a first attempt.
