Day 24: Draw like an Egyptian....

Started off tonight as I usually do with a warm-up drawing from the previous night’s exercise before heading on to the pyramids.

Once you get the hang of these things its Not just easy to do but a bit more fun as well. Tonight I decided that once I’d completed the exercise I’d draw something from my own head using what I’d learned.

First it was going over the basics of the shape as per usual.

Then for the first time since I started working through the book we added something over the horizon line. New territory...figuratively and literally.

Then I thought, since a desert rarely has a flat horizon - what with all the dunes and stuff - I‘d do same again but with bumps...

And after all of that, tonight’s ”Drawing from my head” is....

Tomorrow...its coffee time!
